ThankYa.com offers a simple, yet highly effective method of connecting online buyers and sellers through the use of electronic thank you cards. By sending ThankYa Cards buyers and sellers are able to maintain a connection after a successful online transaction.

This connection can lead to repeat business between the two parties, as ThankYa Cards can show items currently for sale on popular auction web sites.



Use With eBay

When a ThankYa Card is sent, the sender can include their eBay username, which will trigger the card program to show the sender's current online auctions when the card is opened. This feature of the ThankYa Card increases the likelihood of further transactions between the two parties.

In addition to the business advantages, a ThankYa Card gives the ability to simply show appreciation to the party you just did business with. Even if the ThankYa Card does not lead to repeat business, the act of sending the card will give your buyer or seller greater satisfaction from their transaction with you.



Sending a ThankYa Card

Sending a ThankYa Card is both easy and free. The steps are short and a typical card can be sent in 30 seconds or less!


Step 1 - choose the card. We have 6 card choices to send. (5 seconds)


Step 2 - fill in the form that appears. Be sure enter the recipient’s email address correctly.
You can enter multiple email addresses to send cards to multiple recipients too. (10 seconds)


Step 3 - preview the card. (5 seconds)


Step 4 - send the card. (2 seconds)


Once the card has been sent, the recipient will automatically receive an email stating that they have received a ThankYa Card. To view the card, the recipient will be required to click the link contained in the email, which will open a web page to show the card.



The ThankYa Card

The ThankYa Card will consist of two parts: the email notice of the card and the web page showing the card.

Within the web page showing the card, there will be links to the your current eBay auctions. If the recipient clicks your auction links, they might bid on items you're selling!



Reasons to Send ThankYa Cards

The first reason is obvious: to show appreciation to winning bidder in your auction. The second reason is not so obvious, but very important: the Thankya Card provides a direct marketing pitch to your recent customer showing them other items you have for sale. It's like saying "thanks, come again... and here's what I have available right now".



Timing Your ThankYa Cards

ThankYa Cards can be sent very soon following a successful transaction, or even days or weeks later. Some users send their ThankYa Cards shortly after the transaction, while others wait a week or more to send their card out. This is really up to you.

Do’s and Do Nots

Do:

• Send a ThankYa Card for every successful transaction.



• Send a ThankYa Card if you are the seller in an auction.



• Send just one ThankYa Card per auction.



• Include a personal message in the ThankYa Card or choose the standard message.



• Send a ThankYa Card within six weeks of the transaction ending.

Do Not:

• Send multiple ThankYa Cards for the same transaction (considered spam).



• Send a ThankYa Card to non-winning bidders.



• Send a ThankYa Card before an auction ends.



• Send a ThankYa Card for each bid placed on your item.



• Send a ThankYa card before the transaction in completed.



• Send a ThankYa Card more than 6 weeks after a transaction has been completed.

ThankYa Cards and Auction Feedback

Perhaps one of the most useful aspect of an online auction community is the ability for users to leave feedback about their transaction with other members of the community. ThankYa Cards are not meant to replace this component of the transaction at all. It is still important to leave feedback for the other party in your transaction.
