What is ThankYa.com?
ThankYa.com offers ThankYa Cards, which are free, personalized, electronic thank you cards that can be sent following a successful online transaction. The concept of the ThankYa Card is two-fold:
- Show appreciation to person who you did business with
- Show that person items you currently have for sale
How do I send a ThankYa Card?
We’ve made sending ThankYa Cards amazingly easy. You simply select the card you want to send, enter the recipient information, add your personal message, and send your card. The process requires just seconds of your time.
What do the cards cost to send?
Electronic ThankYa Cards are free to send and receive.
Why should I send a ThankYa Card?
ThankYa Cards are a great way to show your appreciation for a smooth transaction. Since you’ve just completed a successful purchase or sale, a ThankYa Card can add a happy ending to the transaction.
Plus, by sending a ThankYa Card you can show items you currently have for sale and possibly generating new business. Links to your current sales listings are included in the card to facilitate new sales.
Can I send the same card to multiple recipients?
Yes. You can enter up to six email addresses to receive the same ThankYa Card. You could consolidate all your sales for a week and send them in one convenient step to save time.
How is the card delivered?
A ThankYa Card has two components:
- the email notice sent to the recipient alerting them of the card, and
- the web page which displays the card
Within the email notice there is a link to web page displaying the card. When the card is opened the recipient will see the card, your personal message and and links to your current items for sale.
Will my recipient open the ThankYa Card?
Of course there is always the chance that your ThankYa Card will go un-opened, but we believe most recipients will take the time to open your card and will be pleased with a friendly thank you note.
How many ThankYa Cards can I send?
You can send as many ThankYa Cards as you need for all the online sales you have. It is important to send just one card per successful transaction.
Can I upload my own images to send in my ThankYa Card?
At this time we are offering a variety of images to be selected and sent to others. The option for users to upload their own images or logos will be added in the future.
I’m the winning bidder in an auction. Can I send a card to the seller?
Absolutely...both the buyer and seller in a transaction are encouraged to send ThankYa Cards!
Can I include a link to ThankYa.com in my auction listing?
Yes! We provide images and text links that can be included in your auction listings or on your web site. Click here for details. Our links meet eBay requirements for third-party links, as outlined here.
Can this be used as spam?
Our system has a built in spam blocker, so those who receive ThankYa Cards as spam can block them from coming in the future.
Will my personal data and my recipient’s data be safe?
We will never sell or release, to any third party, your personal data or email address, or the personal data or email address of your card recipients. We will never use your data, or the data of your card recipients, to send unsolicited email. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.
What advertisements will be included in the ThankYa Card?
Within the ThankYa Card there will be links to your current eBay auctions, if you have items for sale at the time the card is retrieved. If you do not have items for sale, ThankYa will display links to auctions in popular eBay categories.
